Work Methods for Sound Absorption (Internal Filling Material)

1)	Free Cap Method
 
Ink Lining(450X360mm) and hole drilling : to set free-pins
Fix free caps and install T-MAX(leveling work)
  - Lengths of free caps 18,30,48,68mm
Attach gypsum boards and perform finishing work(using screws or tackpins)
Curing

 

2)	Others
 
Fix M-bars, T-bars and T&H bars.
Install T-MAX
  Put T-MAX over the installed bars or insert between bars.
  Use 50mm T-MAX Standard Type
Install the ceiling material specified in the design.
     

 

Work Methods for building Sound Absorption
 

In sound sensitive areas such as auditoriums, gyms, broadcast studios, music rehearsal halls and machine rooms, these work methods trap various noises and help convey precise ¡®sound¡¯.

  Must follow the acoustic design
Fix lower moldings (joiners)
Install T-MAX
 
Use 25T 60K or 50T 40K T-MAX
T-MAX FABRIC: A T-MAX product with fire retardant fabric on one side. Suitable for areas where visual design is important.
Double-Layer Board : A T-MAX product processed with finishing material on one side. Does not require separate finishing material. (Machine rooms and HVAC rooms)
Fix upper moldings (joiners).

Production of sound absorption panels
Use 25 mm or 50 mm T-MAX for large-scale areas such as auditoriums. 10 mm T-BOARD may be used for homes.
Select finishing material suitable for the atmosphere the designer wishes to create.
These can be metallic (aluminum) boards, plywood boards, particle boards such as MDF, fabric, etc.
 

Install sound absorption panels.

Fix squared timber (5~8 mm) following the ink lines
Install T-BOARD over the squared timber. (to produce a layer of air between the wall surface and the panels)

Double Bracket Method
 
Ink lining work
Fix double brackets - using T2 bonding glue
Install T-MAX and fix caps
Apply gypsum bonding glue and attach gypsum boards
 

 

Furring Strip Method
 
Ink lining work
Install Furring Strip (Styrofoam) - using T2 bonding glue.
Install T-MAX (330¡¿1800 mm).
Apply gypsum bonding glue on the Furring Strip and finish with gypsum boards.
 

 

Free Cap Method
 
Ink lining work (314¡¿450)
Fix free cap pins (6 mm wide).
Install T-MAX.
Fix Free Caps leveling work (using leveling rule)
Attach gypsum boards and perform finishing work (Using Gypsum Screw)
 

 

Light Weight Partition (Dry Wall) Method
 
Install upper and lower runners.
Fix studs.
Attach gypsum boards on one side.
Install T-MAX.
Attach gypsum boards on the finishing side.
Finish the joints (with joint tape and/or compound).
Perform finishing work on the surface.
Fix base moldings
